Answer

Furnish with the application, information verifying that he has acquired at least 4000 hours in the classification for which he is applying. The qualifying experience must be acquired
while working under the supervision of a person who holds a valid refrigeration contractors license, who is a registered professional engineer or who has equivalent industry experience.

ATTENTION: We suggest that you obtain both the “Application for Refrigeration Examination” and the “Application Information Packet” from the State Board of Refrigeration Examiners (for further information see NC Licensing Boards). Before you submit the completed application to the Refrigeration Board you should have completed our class. After you have completed the class and have studied the study material, then you should submit the application. At the time of application you must submit three (3) possible test date for consideration. It takes approximately two (2) weeks for the refrigeration board to process your application.
